Data released by the General Administration of Customs show that in September 2024, China imported 400,000 tons of sugar, a decrease of 140,000 tons year-on-year.
From January to September 2024, China imported 2.89 million tons of sugar, an increase of 770,000 tons year-on-year.
In the 23/24 mustard season, China imported 4.75 million tons of sugar, an increase of 860,000 tons.
